Rechargeable products are convenient, but battery problems often come from lost chargers, dirty contacts or long periods of storage at a completely empty charge. A few simple habits can help.
Use the correct charger
Many adult products use proprietary USB or magnetic cables. Similar-looking connectors are not always interchangeable. Use the cable supplied by the manufacturer or an approved replacement.
Keep charging contacts clean and dry
Magnetic pins can fail to connect when moisture or residue is present. Dry the product completely after cleaning before attaching the charger.
Avoid extreme heat
Rechargeable batteries age faster in high temperatures. Do not store a product in a hot car, direct sun or near a heater.
Do not ignore a swollen or damaged battery
If a rechargeable product becomes unusually hot, swells, leaks or has a damaged cable, stop using it and follow the manufacturer’s disposal guidance.
Long-term storage
If you will not use a product for months, follow the maker’s storage recommendation and recharge periodically if instructed. Store the device clean, dry and separate from items that could press buttons accidentally.
We prioritize fit, material clarity, ease of cleaning, privacy, warranty and useful features. Partner relationships do not change our basic evaluation criteria.
